there was this guy standing by himself in a room full of women at the masjid today like he’s one of the guys who ‘work’ in the masjid and apparently he was waiting for the women to be done so he can clear the floor or whatever
I told him that he has no right to be here and that he needed to step outside and wait there until we’re done. how shameful is that though, like we’re supposed to be modest and this guy is gawking at all of these girls including me and it made me feel so angry. this guy has a reputation of being creepy like this too so I had to say something
he ended up leaving.
seriously though i’m only telling you girls this for a reason. the masjid is YOUR place too. if you feel uncomfortable because of a guy, LET SOMEONE KNOW.
I love the sisters at the masjid so much, they make me feel like home, like I’m supposed to be there, like I belong there with them.
even if our masjid isn’t much, I couldn’t ask for a better masjid and better group of Muslims to be around. seriously though, alhamdulilah.
maybe it’s better to acknowledge that when someone dies, they aren’t really gone, and they haven’t stopped existing. their soul still remains, under His power and mercy, and will remain up to the hereafter. if you really think about it, no one really ceases to exist.
